i can't seem to make any realistic faces for something i want to try out, if i try it with paint, the colours(Colors) are weird & it is a 2d smiley face. like this :)
and i do not know how to insert images & all that.
Could anyone help me with this matter.

Oh & can you use 'DXTBmp' for mapping?

DXTBmp can help you with textures, if you don't want to use NVidia's Photoshop plugin, however it is not an image editor in and of itself, so you can't map in that.

You will need either Gimp or Photoshop in order to map or make skins.

OK thanks, but how do you make realistic faces of units & generals. Do you get it from images or do you start from scratch

We usually get images, but you can make your own.
